"So I paid someone to work for me in TUS that night and drove to PHX, got a hotel and bragged about how great this show was going to be.Michael and some hired hands showed up 3 hrs late, totally messed up.. and I think the bass player got arrested so he never made it. They were in a old white van with like a pignose amp. I was so embarrassed about how I bragged that this would be the greatest ever.......and the guy next to me said "Ive waited all these years for this, its my birthday, and I get THIS!!!?? Anyway at that point I didnt understand at all what had happened.I JUST learned from reading your site whats "going on." I went home feeling like my a was kicked.I had spent alot of money and travel time in anticipation of a major influence in my music career. They had played the night before in LAS and used that as an excuse for being drunk,high and blasted on stage.Im interested in your revival and will give it one more shot with Jay at the helm. I then, after seeing the live performance with Jay will decide who holds the key to the REAL GLG. I work for the airlines so I fly for free... keep me posted on when you are playing, and if its a date that Im not playing.. Ill show up!"
